Health Partneships
Across Essex, Southend and Thurrock
Citizens Advice Essex is pleased to be able to offer dedicated referral arrangements to NHS partners accross Greater Essex
We help people resolve the problems that sit underneath poor health — money worries, debt, benefits, housing, employment and more. For many of the people you see, the most effective "prescription" isn't clinical. It's advice.
Accross the nine local offices in Greater Essex work is already going on, alongside GP practices, social prescribing link workers, mental health teams and wider NHS and community health services, to get people that support quickly, and to take some of the pressure off these services, but we want to do more to develop this work and we believe the “case” can be made to commissioners and decision makers for formally recognising (and funding) these services, as much by referring to evaluation and research, as by testimony and experience of clinicians and their patients (and our clients) of how our advice services can be so beneficial to health and the operation of pathways in and out of the care that supports it.
There are two ways to work with us. Refer someone now, (see below) or if you want to find out more about working together more closely (including how to make use of the Citizens Advice Partner Referral Tool), including how to engage your information governance teams alongside ours to ensure compliance reach out to us now.
